Examples of reports

Mostly, our reports are confidential to the commissioning agency.

A small number are publically available.  Some recent examples are:

Research on family resilience

Journeys of Resilience, involved 45 interviews with adults who overcame adverse childhoods to achieve positive outcomes – including stable employment – in adulthood.  An appreciative enquiry approach was incorporated into the interview process to assist with the identification of resilience factors.  Use of this approach meant research participants focused first on the positive aspects of their lives and what influenced those aspects – that, in turn, helped identify barriers.

An Evaluation of Funded Family Care

Funded Family Care is a Ministry of Health-funded support option that enables some disabled people with very high or high needs to pay a family member, who would otherwise be excluded, to provide the disabled family member’s personal care and household management supports.

The Ministry of Health commissioned Artemis Research to assess the impact and effectiveness of Funded Family Care and the reasons influencing its uptake in its first year of operation.
